Up until I decided to focus on helping parents, I was a dedicated primary school teacher and have over 30 years of experience in teaching in primary schools.
Hi, I’m Penny, the founder of MathsBites. In fact, I wear all of the hats in the business!
MathsBites was born from countless conversations with parents who said, “I want to help, but I don’t want to confuse them,” or “Maths just isn’t my thing.”
I get it. Maths has changed, and for many families, that gap between classroom and home can feel really wide.
That’s where MathsBites comes in.
I translate classroom concepts into simple, friendly, bite-sized videos that make sense at home.

I firmly believe that when parents feel empowered, children thrive.
